Don Rashke, Chairman of the Board
Don Rashke, founder and Chairman of the Board, is very active in
Community Theater, supporting these programs with financial and promotional
assistance, volunteering and acting. Don produced a local play entitled “Bang” which dealt with gun
control. As result of the play, donations were made to the
Wisconsin Committee on the Prevention of Child Abuse, allowing the Committee to
expand its services and programs.
Don Rashke was also involved with
Special Olympics, sitting on the statewide Special Olympics committee and chairing
the sub-committee on promotions that was responsible for contracting and securing celebrity
involvement. Both Don and Dan assisted in running workshops for Special Olympics participants on
noncompetitive and team orientated sporting events.
Through the efforts of Don and TASC, uninsured families can now purchase health insurance for
family members with epilepsy. As an former member of the
Wisconsin Epilepsy Board, Don also put together a program to underwrite Life
Insurance coverage for people suffering from epilepsy. Before these efforts, insurance policies for
epileptics were extremely difficult to obtain.
