The roots of TASC were established early. Indeed the personal experiences of our founder
and current Chairman of the Board, Don Rashke, are inseparable from TASC’s philosophy of helping
smaller businesses and farms enjoy the same benefits as larger companies.
Before opening the insurance agency that evolved into TASC, Don’s early career included 10
years in farming. With his natural affinity for the farm community and his personal understanding
of the needs of smaller businesses, it’s no surprise that Don’s vision of TASC developed as it
did.
In 1975, Don created Insurance Center, selling insurance and estate planning to farmers and
others. By the time Dan Rashke joined his father eight years later, the business was already
thriving. Never ones to settle for simple success, the Rashkes’ continued to grow and reinvent the
business. Soon, Cafeteria Plan services were added, AgriPlan & BizPlan were born, and the
company’s insurance products were scaled back.
The nineties brought more milestones as our company – by now known as Insurance Center
Administrators – took on the name of a subsidiary: Total Administrative Services Corporation
(TASC). Dan Rashke was named CEO. MAPP and PHiEd were born.
COBRAToday and DirectPay followed soon after, and finding new ways to serve our growing Client
base became part of the culture at TASC. Most recently, those continued efforts resulted in
the development of the RetirEez Individual 401(k), and LEGACY
guard, an asset protection program.
“TASC and the Rashke family are particularly proud of developing and maintaining programs that
have a positive effect on the quality of life of our Clients,” says Dan.
With Clients in 50 states, a strong network of Providers, and a professional team of
employees, TASC is poised for continued growth and success.
