TASC Sets Record with its United Way Fundraising Campaign

Madison, Wis. – Total Administrative Services Corporation (TASC), a nationwide administrator of benefit plans, set a corporate record with its 2007 United Way fundraising campaign. They raised and donated $57,913.33 to the United Way of Dane County, a figure 19 percent higher than their campaign total for last year. Fifty-five percent of TASC’s employees participated in this year’s campaign, or 31 percent more than the employee participation averages found at other Dane County businesses.

TASC continues to provide Section 125 Cafeteria Plan services to the United Way of Dane County agencies.  Through its FlexSystem division, TASC provides the Agencies with a $600 annual credit toward their FlexSystem administrative fees and waives the enrollment fee.  (This makes the service free for groups with 15 or fewer eligible employees.)  As part of its volunteering program, a TASC employee serves as the account executive for the participating United Way Agencies.

FlexSystem is based on Section 125 of the Internal Revenue Code and allows employees to pay certain expenses (such as health insurance, medical expenses and daycare) with pre-tax dollars.  The employees benefit from an increase in take home pay, thereby boosting the Agency’; s ability to attract and retain quality employees.  Meanwhile, the Agency saves payroll taxes for every dollar run through the Plan.

Based in Madison, Wisconsin, TASC’s services include AgriPlan, BizPlan, RetirEez, LegacyGuard, FlexSystem, DirectPay, COBRAToday, and RetireRite.  Through its services, TASC provides over 60,000 sole proprietors, family farmers and small business owners nationwide with innovative, tax advantaged employee benefit programs.
