Business Analyst

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business needs, elicit requirements and document specifications
  • Outline designs of new IT systems, specifying the data, files and logical operations the system will perform, and the way data will be viewed by the user
  • Support Business Analysis Methodologies
  • Participate in multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize multiple tasks effectively
  • Present designs and work closely with the team to implement the solution
  • Demonstrate understanding of technical design specifications
  • Define business and use case conditions
  • Develop accurate and complete business and use case test plans 
  • Identify and document system deficiencies and recommend solutions
  • Execute business and use case analysis based on specific project parameter

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of business analysis principles, practices, techniques and tools
  • Demonstrated effective time management and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including strong listening skills
  • Demonstrated high-level organizational skills in organizing resources and establishing priorities
  • High-level computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, spreadsheet preparation, Internet research and business analysis software)

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience from an accredited college or university)
  • A minimum of 2-4 years of business analysis experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of business processes and technology application, understanding of basic Internet and client/server architectrues, HTML, SQL and database design.
