Processing Specialist I - COBRA

TASC is a rapidly growing Third Party Administrator of tax advantaged employee benefit programs
who pioneered the use of IRS section 105 to allow small businesses to deduct all of their health
care costs. TASC is seeking a Processing Specialist to be responsible for performing processing
activities in the Customer Services area. Processing activities may include process ownership, data
entry, scanning, and auditing. Secondary responsibilities include special projects as assigned and
back-up phone support as required.
This is a full-time, non-exempt position that works the core hours of 8:00am-4:30pm.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail while processing high levels of
output
• Ability to become proficient with understanding federal COBRA laws
• Effective and professional communication skills, emphasis on verbal skills
• Proficiency and working knowledge of computer skills (e-mail, database entry, word
processing, etc.)
Minimum qualifications of the position include:
• High School graduate, prefer Associates Degree or equivalent experience in Business
Administration, Business Management, Human Resources, Customer Service
• Two year customer service experience (COBRA administration, Section 125 or Section 105 is
preferred)
