POSITION PURPOSE: The purpose of this position is, but is not limited to, discovery, review,
decision, development, technical writing, and follow through for field sales and TASC account
business. This is a full-time, exempt position and works Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00
PM, with extended hours as necessary.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITY:
• Build TASC’s RFP process and work design.
• Create, update and maintain Policies & Procedures for the RFP process.
• Create, maintain, review and track RFPs and RFP results (RFP win/loss ratio).
• Supporting and working closely with Group Sales representative(s) and support
positions for request for proposal development.
• Primary interaction occurs at the Regional Sales Director and Inside Sales levels to
establish relationships and expand RFP opportunities.
• Client level interaction would be dependent on the existence or lack of
Provider/consultant relationships.
• Maintain relationship with RFP software vendor and implement process improvements.
• Develop and maintain new sources of good result RFPs.
CORE COMPETENCIES:
• Education and/or experience equivalent to a minimum of an Associate’s degree from an
accredited college or university with a degree in Business Administration,
• a component of Business Administration, Technical writing experience or related
discipline.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of progressively responsible demonstrated experience in a
professional business environment.
• Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to
interact effectively with internal and external contacts at all levels.
• Exchanges non-routine information using tact and persuasion as appropriate requiring
good oral and written communication skills.
• Sensitive to the interrelationship of people and departmental functions.
• Organizational skills sufficient to handle multiple tasks and stay on task with
regular interruptions while prioritizing workload and meeting deadlines.
• Ability to work independently, however function as a team member in collaborative
creative environment.
• Knowledge of the formal and informal departmental goals, standards, policies and
procedures.
• Willingness to assume challenging and special projects.
• Willingness and ability to perform with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
sufficient to create documents, spreadsheets and email.
