DirectPay Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRAs). With this tool employers set aside a specific amount annually from which employees pay for health care expenses, as defined by the Plan. All employer contributions to the plan are deductible to the employer and are tax-free to the employee. As an added benefit, any funds left over at the end of the Plan Year may be rolled into the following year. HRAs are usually placed in conjunction with High Deductible Health Plans and can provide significant savings to employers.
