Pop-Up Blocker
The MyTASC application is designed to remove the internet browsers tool bars and
the user will need to “allow” the
www.tasconline.com website to open. If the user has turned
off the default pop-up blocker and is the page is still being blocked, check to make sure there are
no additional web toolbars such as Yahoo or Google search toolbars added as they may have
additional pop-up blockers installed. For instructions on how to add MyTASC as an allowed site, the
user is encourage to check the help files of their specific browser since each type and version may
vary.
Browser Requirements for MyTASC
To provide you with a high level of security, TASC recommends you use latest version browser.
These browsers support the latest encryption technology. (Encryption scrambles your data into a
form that only your browser and TASC’s Web server can understand.)
The most common problems accessing our site are due to the version or settings of your
browser. In order for our site to function properly, we require the use of one of the following
versions of browser:
Microsoft Internet Browser 6.0 (with Windows XP Service Pack 2 updates)
Microsoft Internet Browser 7.x
Mozilla FireFox 1.5 or greater
Netscape 8.x
You can usually check the version of the browser you are using by clicking on the item "About…" under the "Help" icon.

Changing Screen Resolution
MyTASC is designed to be displayed in a screen that is sized to 1028 x 768. If your
screen resolution is set lower please refer to your operating system help files on how to change
your screen resolution.
Internet Connection Speed
MyTASC is a robust transactional software application and requires a Broadband (DSL, Cable
modem, T1, T3) internet connection. MyTASC may function with a modem connection however TASC
cannot guarantee that the application will reflect the intended functionality and appearance.
Deleting Cookies and Temporary Internet Files
In many cases the clearing of “Cookies” and “Temporary Files” can resolve many
issues with logging into the system. Typically this feature is available under “Options”, check
with your internet browser’s help section for more details.
