DirectPay is our Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA) administration service. A HRA account is a personal account from which employees can pay directly for their health care expenses. Employers have great flexibility in designing a plan to meet their employee’s needs; it just depends on their goals in providing employee benefits.   
DirectPay offers three choices: Health Plan Coordinated works in conjunction with a company-sponsored health insurance plan, while Health Plan Independent typically works with no insurance plan in place. Finally, Direct Reimbursement is a simple, cost effective way to provide a specific health benefit for employees.
 
Health Plan Coordinated can include a variety of benefits, such as medical and prescription expenses.    Employers benefit most by switching to an HRA coupled with a high deductible health insurance plan.  By designing such a benefit program, their insurance premium will be reduced and the amount saved can be used to establish an HRA.
 
Health Plan Independent is the right choice for employers who want to allocate a set dollar amount for employees to use on their medical expenses (in place of a traditional insurance benefit) or for those who wish to offer a Plan that covers a specific type of medical expense such as prescription expenses.
 
Direct Reimbursement offers an innovative approach to self-funding a company's dental and/or vision plan(s). This Plan allows employers (and/or employees) to set aside a specific amount annually from which employees pay for dental, vision, or orthodontia expenses.
 
Regardless of a Plan's design, by offering DirectPay employers enhance their employee benefits and offer employees more choices and control over their medical benefits. And all the while employers save money by offering health care that is more affordable.

All DirectPay Providers receive:
  • Receive a Provider Manual for reference.
  • Receive regular newsletters, magazines, and technical bulletins with updates or changes in tax law.
  • Receive marketing materials, including sell sheets, point of sale brochures, and Participant Enrollment Forms.
  • Can count on toll-free technical support.
  
DirectPay Providers:
  • Sign the Provider Agreement and return it with the appropriate fee. (Mail the Agreement to TASC, 2302 International Lane, Madison, WI 53704-3140 or fax it to 608-241-4584.) You will receive your Provider ID number and marketing materials in a matter of days.
  • Assist Clients with completing the Plan Application. Accurate and complete Plan Applications are essential to properly installing a DirectPay Health Reimbursement Arrangement. Work with your Clients to select the benefits they want for their employees, and to set the appropriate limits on excluded employees.
  • Calculate the fee. Using the DirectPay Fee Schedule, determine the enrollment fee for your Client’s group.
  • Mail the Plan Application and enrollment fee to DirectPay. Instruct your Client to mail the enrollment fee and the completed Plan Application. Employee Enrollment Kits will be sent to the group’s designated contact person once DirectPay has received and reviewed the Plan information.
